Recreation of Bronze Spell

A beautiful handmade wall art from the heart of Persia

The animal tamer of the late is his image for immortality.

Object of gunmetal Hey 1000-3000 B.C lorestanNational Adjacent museum of Tehran 11 CODE 917 stage time A recreation of black pottery Shushane | || | |

There is some evidence that confirms the presence of gray pottery in 3500 BC in the Iranian plateau. Type of pottery made with special technique is in fact an expression of a particular culture in making pottery. In the case of manufacturing this type of pottery, there are many considerable issues such as the formation of the metal age civilizations, immigrations, forests, and the use of metal tools, and the transformation of primitive societies. Researchers believe that gray pottery, as the pottery of emigrant or aggressive tribes and communities, has impact on the settlements of the Iranian plateau. The advantages of this pottery, including innovation in color of the pottery, rigidity, diversity in form, mass production, and above all, the sacred and ceremonial aspects related to some of these containers frequently discovered from the tombs of these nations, necessitated the need for greater recognition and evaluation of this pottery. Gray pottery firing technique is in such a way that if there is not enough oxygen in the furnace when cooking, then some carbon is released as an active element, and should compensate for the lack of oxygen atoms of the neighboring materials. This state exists in the objects’ clay and absorbs the carbon. Now, the recovery phase has emerged that result in black or gray color of the potteries.

Size approximately 26 cm x 18 cm
